“I am in love again……although this time I did not have to spend the time, nor fortune required to travel to one of the most deliciously romantic destinations in the world.  Italia!   Instead it was in Noosa at Ma’Mensa…………On long shared tables amongst the colourful filtered light of a stunning winter afternoon in Noosa, we dined on antipasti comprising of mushroom votolo savoury ricotta torta and rolled frittata entwined with an array of deliciously prepared vegetables including eggplant with thyme and garlic, grilled artichoke halves, vividly green blanched asparagus spears, sweet roasted red peppers, plump juicy black olives and a richly decadent pate”  (Ali of Sunrise Beach)

Dining at Ma’Mensa takes you into the realms of many kitchens of Italy – long tables, hustle and bustle, all to the rhythm of Italian music.  Fresh local produce and the best imported products are dealt with in the timeless traditions of many Italians. Some dishes are then given an extra twist.  Ma’Mensa’s breads and pasta are all lovingly hand made on the premises on a daily basis such as pappardelle, macaroni and ravioli.  Our Head Chef, Belinda Tuckwell, loves to excite the diner with her daily specials which may include a risoni pasta mascarpone mushrooms and truffle dish or fried zucchini flowers, gorgonzola and ricotta with salsa rossa.

 

Our menu caters for “gluten free meals’ including house made pizza and pasta.  Children's menus also available
